ISKEY APP

Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains how Qualify handles information. In short: we do not collect your personal data through the app.

Who we are

Qualify is made by ISKEY APP Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17509470), registered office 6 Great Swanmoor Close, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, England, BS34 8AB. We are the controller of any personal data described here. Contact: support@iskey.app.

What the app stores on your device

To work, Qualify keeps the following only on your iPhone: your scores and history, the questions you got wrong, unfinished attempts, rewards, exam dates you enter, your reminder settings, and which purchases you hold. We cannot see this information and it is not sent to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, it is deleted.

What we do not do

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive your card information or your Apple Account details. We only learn from Apple that a purchase has been made for the app (for example in sales reports that do not identify you). Apple's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

Checking the time

To stop access that has run out from being extended by changing a phone's date, the app may occasionally ask our website for the current time. This only happens if you hold access that can run out (a monthly or 3-month plan, or a test preview); the app of someone with free or lifetime access never does it. It is an ordinary web request that sends no information about you. Like any website request, it reveals your IP address to our hosting provider (Cloudflare), which handles it under its own privacy policy; we do not receive, store or use it. Test previews also read a small public file from our website to learn when the preview ends.

Progress backups

The app can save your progress to a file on your phone, at your request. Where that file goes (Files, iCloud Drive, email) is up to you. We never receive it unless you send it to us.

Notifications

If you choose to allow reminders, Qualify schedules them on your device. They are local notifications: nothing about them is sent to our servers. You can turn them off in the app (Settings → Notifications) or in iOS Settings.

Rating requests

Occasionally the app may ask you to rate it, using Apple's standard prompt. Apple controls whether and when it appears, and any rating you give is handled by Apple.

TestFlight

If you test an early version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple collects some information about your testing (such as your email address and device information) under its own terms. We receive only the feedback you choose to send us.

When you contact us

If you email us (including using the "report a question" button in test previews), we receive your email address and what you write, and for a question report the question concerned and the app version. We use it only to reply, and keep it for as long as needed to deal with your request and our business records. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in supporting our users.

Children

Qualify is designed for adults preparing for professional exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there is usually nothing for us to give you, correct or delete. For anything we do hold (such as emails you send us) you have the rights set out in UK data protection law, including to see, correct and delete it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email support@iskey.app to use them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If we ever add anything that collects personal data, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before it takes effect.
